I’m a director, producer and series director. My work has been nominated for BAFTA, Grierson, RTS and Emmy awards.

With over twenty years of experience making high end documentaries for Netflix, BBC, Disney, Discovery and ARTE I have developed and scripted original ideas, with a proven track record of taking them from initial idea through to final delivery. 

My films, like the hits MARK CAVENDISH NEVER ENOUGH and BAD SPORT, are well-crafted with emotional power that attracts huge global audiences and receives critical acclaim. I work across Sport, Feature Docs and Specialist Factual genres combining cinematic scale with intimacy, leading multi-camera shoots and managing high-profile talent.

I love telling incredible human stories with emotion, scale, humour and intimacy. Recently I've followed the first woman from Latin America to search for Cleopatra's tomb; explored the largest machine humans have ever built at CERN; and created a beautiful portrait of a jazz-dancing Olympic coach who believes wrestling and kindness will save the world. 

My latest films are THE PEACE PARTICLE Official Selection at CPH DOX for ARTE and BBC, CLEOPATRA'S FINAL SECRET for National Geographic and the award winning short film GRAPPLING GRACE. 

I create a great atmosphere on set, have led film crews of over thirty people in extreme environments and encourage creativity and career development for the whole team. I’m a talented interviewer who forges long lasting relationships with his contributors.

I speak conversational Italian and Spanish, have dual nationality and am hostile environment trained (HET). 

For safeguarding I have had enhanced DBS and been cleared for working with vulnerable adults and children.
